Basketball Operations Director

Coach Colin has over 20 years in basketball as a player and a coach.  He began his career in banking on Wall Street and pursued his dream of inspiring others through sports when he founded Breakaway Hoops.  With many sports highlights in middle and high school, Coach Colin has also been recognized as the Top Assistant Coach at The Boys’ Club of New York Academic All-Star High School basketball traveling team.  He has helped over 20 high school basketball players earn Division I Men’s Basketball Scholarships and has served as a Head Coach at top tier high school basketball camps throughout New York, New Jersey, and New England.

Director of  Summer Camps 

Cliff Morgan brings 15 years’ experience in international professional basketball.  For 12 years he served as the Director of Basketball City, and also held several positions with the NY Knicks as Assistant Coach, Player Development, and as the NY Knicks Community Relations Associate Basketball Director/Lead Clinician.  He has led basketball camps and clinics in the US, and abroad in Puerto Rico, Chile, Spain, Boliva, China, and Uruguay.  Morgan also served as the Basketball Director for Top Sports Enterprise in China.

All of our staff coaches at 18 years or older with high school, college, or pro playing experience.  We pride ourselves on hiring coaches with at least 3 years of coaching experience who are able to uphold our mission and values and create a wholesome experience for kids and their families.
